UK Butterflies: survey methodology and techniques

This introduction to surveying UK Butterflies is provided by Wild Amersham in cooperation with the Chilterns Chalk Streams Project  (Chilterns National Landscape), the Upper Thames Butterfly Conservation and Amersham Band.

The session will be led by Nick Bowles, from the Upper Thames branch of the Butterfly Conservation and the training will be focused on how to monitor butterflies; to get your started or to improve your skills in butterfly transect methodology. This first  session is about surveying techniques and not about butterfly identification. A butterfly ID training day will follow later in the year.
