Chalk stream training for youth leaders, uniformed group leaders & teachers

The Chilterns Chalk Streams Project- CCSP- is actively involved in river education across the Chilterns. This spring we are offering a training session specifically aimed at those who educate young people (scout leaders, teachers. etc.) and who would like to understand more about the ecology of Chalk streams and how they support a wide variety of wildlife.

This short introduction to freshwater ecology is for you of if you want to become more confident in your knowledge and ID skills and if want to to incorporate river and pond dipping in your curriculum and activity programme.

If this first session is successful and there is  interest in the subject we might run a further event later in the year. On the day you’ll get to know some of our CCSP team and have the opportunity to talk about our education programmes and chalk streams project across the Chilterns.
