SWC Stakeholder Event

On Monday 30th of September the River Chess Citizen Science team held a stakeholder event to share challenges and success of the catchment-focussed citizen science programme.

 

The event was structured around presentations from our staff, partners and citizen scientists in the morning, and demos of river survey methods in the afternoon after an excellent lunch made by Feast Cookery.

 

The day was very successful with over seventy attendees between CCSP partners’ representatives and citizen scientists who spent the morning listening to various speakers, browsing the displays, discussing different topics, sharing experience, and networking. The afternoon saw groups of attendees heading to Chesham Moore to watch demonstrations of survey methods used in the Chess.
