Love Exploring? Try our new guided family trail

Chiltern Chalk Streams have teamed up with Bucks Council and Love Exploring to create a new fun guided trail along the River Chess., through Chesham.

Following some of the Chess valley walk you can find out more about the history of the river spotting glimpses of its industrial past. Discover the key features of a chalk stream and the importance of these globally rare habitats. You can also learn about the amazing wildlife that lives in chalk streams. Maybe you’ll spot some of them as you walk along.

 

After your walk perhaps enjoy lunch or refreshments in Chesham town centre or combine your visit with some stream dipping or a trip to the open air swimming pool.
The beginning of the trail is a short distance from Chesham underground station and by watermeadow carpark.
